The UCT Anglican Society (ANSOC) welcomes you!
The Anglican Society (Ansoc) is one of the Christian societies at the University of Cape Town (UCT).
We are part of the St. Paul's Anglican Church in Rondebosch. We have a shuttle which takes students from UCT Residences; please contact our committee for details
Together with the University of Western Cape (UWC),the University of Stellenbosch (US) and the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT); we make the Western Cape Region of the Anglican Students' Federation (ASF).
We praise and worship together, to deepen our understanding of the Christian Faith and to reach out to each other and to others. A lot of social and spiritual events take place during the ANSOC year.
Our members and friends are strongly encouraged to participate in different ways. People can join sub committees, Music Team, ANZORAZZI (our magazine) Team, Website Developers and others. Other activities include bible reading, leading services and bible sharing coordination . There is a lot more please contact our committee to get involved.
Our Chaplain is Father Christopher Swartz. He is friendly and approachable enough to be contacted by everybody.
